According to the owner, Josh Hunter, Queen City is seeking $250,000 to fund adding additional aircraft to the fleet. "I am hoping to bring to Queen City Flying Service and its clients a second airplane available for rental, one more suited for IFR flying and long-distance trips with friends and family or for business. The Cessna we have now is a fantastic trainer, but it is not a travel machine. I'm hoping to buy a Cessna 182 or Diamond DA-40 or perhaps a Cirrus SR-20.", Josh said.

The Perfect Location

Cincinnati Municipal Airport, better known as Lunken Field, is one of the oldest and most historic airports in the country. Even after the opening of the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Covington, Kentucky, Lunken Field has remained a vibrant airport, serving multiple flight schools, maintenance services, corporate flight departments, and personal aviation customers, and scheduled airline service.

Waypoint Aviation is the host facility for Queen City Flying Service. Waypoint is the newest terminal on the airport, boasting a beautiful lobby, private office space and conference room, on-site maintenance, and a meticulously clean hangar. We are proud to be able to offer a flight training environment unlike the typical school experience of dingy classrooms, cluttered hangars, and rundown equipment.

Personalized Courses

Our instructors are flight training professionals with real-world experience, not time-builders looking to bail out at the first opportunity. Every client is an individual with specific needs and desires, not a number to be pushed through as quickly as possible.

In lieu of mandating a specific study program, our instructors work with each client to select a training package which best meets the client’s need and learning style. The instructor’s first job is to determine which program will most benefit the new pilot.

Have one of our instructors contact you to discus the perfect personal training plan for you.
